Who we are

This site is run by the organisers of the 2 Million Man North West Rally on behalf of the African Democratic Congress (ADC).

What we collect

Your full name, phone number, state, local government area, shirt size, an optional gender and PVC answer, and your National Identification Number (NIN) or Voter's ID number (or both).

How we use your NIN and Voter's ID

These numbers are used only to make sure each person registers once. We do not store the full number: we keep a one-way cryptographic fingerprint (hash) and the last four characters. The full number cannot be read back from our database.

Support groups

A group leader can register the members of a support group. The leader confirms that every person listed agreed to be registered. At least one person in the group gives a NIN or Voter's ID number; other members may register without one and are then identified by their name, registration number and QR pass.

Why we collect it

To register you for the rally, issue your pass and make sure each person collects one shirt and one cap. We may contact you about the rally.

Who can see it

Only authorised rally officials. We do not sell your data.

Your rights

Under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 you may ask to see, correct or delete your data. Use the contact details on this site.
